Christmas Eve

We have a tradition that all of Jason's family stays the night together on Christmas Eve! This year, there was a snow/ice storm on Christmas Eve so we had to leave Nick and Kelly's in a rush, just to even get to Gigi's house! This year, not only did we all stay Christmas Eve, but we all got snowed in as well! Luckily, she was well prepared with food and didn't mind everyone staying for 4 days! You know me, I was well prepared with board games and we had the BEST time....except for the fact that no one got much sleep because Kinley got another ear infection on Christmas Eve! Luckily Jim had a 4 wheel drive truck that we could drive into town to the only Walgreens open and Kinley has a great Dr. that called us in some antibiotics on Christmas morning!
The fun, cozy white Christmas that we all shared together was priceless and we couldn't have asked for a better holiday!

Another tradition that we have on Christmas Eve is that all of the girls get matching pj's. Lynda and Sarah happened to find the women's pj's that matched Kinley's pj's! Also, the guys joined in this year and looked really cute! Kason didn't have matching pants, but that doesn't matter! Pics turned out great!

We got out cookies and milk for Santa and the kids didn't quite understand what it was! They were very interested though! Kason was a little more cautious and didn't touch the cookie for quite some time!

Christmas Eve Morning

On Christmas Eve morning, the four of us went to Nick and Kelly's for Christmas. The three kids had on matching Christmas pj's and got to open all of their presents together! Parker got a slide and Kinley & Kason got a slide, so we tried to show the kids how to play on it! Our kids kept climbing up the front and couldn't understand how to go around to the steps, but they LOVED sliding down!
Parker has a horsey that Kason just loves and he likes to
get on it everytime he plays there! Kinley kept trying to get on and ended up climbing on the springs...she thought that she was on the horse and you can see how proud she is in the photo!

We all opened presents in the living room and all of the kids liked all of the presents, but of course they like the boxes more! We played peek-a-boo with the boxes and anything else around for quite awhile!

All three kids were very interested in the baby dolls! It was cute to watch them all with the babies! Kinley and Kason kept kissing the baby and they were really interested in rocking the baby. They still LOVE to "rock the baby".

Christmas Gift Exchange

On December 20th, my friends and I got together and did a Christmas gift exchange with the kids! Several kids were sick or already out of town for the holidays, but we still had quite a few people there! We had a big fried turkey and all of the 'fixins and had a great kickoff to our Christmas Break! The only "gift exchangers" were Kason, Kinley, Drew, and Cap, so basically Kason and Kinley got what Drew and Cap brought and vice versa :) It was still really cute and we are planning to do it each year!

Sorry, didn't get a picture of the guys!

Smile!

The kids got The Laugh & Learn Learning Home for their birthday and these pictures are too cute not to share! They love pushing all of the buttons and going through the door, etc. Kason opens and shuts the door on the home and the farm until it plays the song that he wants it to play, and then he dances!
