Cancun Day Four!

We decided to pick one tour while we were here and we asked our concierge for some good advice on one where we could take the babies..... We picked "The Royal Garaffon Tour" which consists of a tour to the Island of Mujeres to Garaffon Park which is an all inclusive park and has food, drinks, snorkeling, zip lines, pool, hammocks, and other things to do which we did not get time to do!
So, we headed out this morning to get on the van and almost left without the swimsuits! Oopsie! We did make it in time though and took the van to the port to board the boat which would take us to the island. Apparently, we picked the most windy day of the week because I about lost my breakfast on the way to the island and Sarah and I almost lost our dinner on the way back to Cancun! It was not so fun with the water being SO rough! But, the rest of the day was great! When we arrived at the park, they offered us strollers which the kids were able to take naps in so that worked out as well! We (the adults) all took turns doing the ziplines, snorkeling, napping, etc! Other than the two boat rides, it was a great time! We are exhausted this evening and I don't even know why I am still up writing this blog!

Cancun Day Three!

So we got up really early today and decided to try and take some photos on the beach! My goal was to get a new pic for our bathroom.....There is a sign in our bathroom that says "You and Me and the Deep Blue Sea" and the pic of them is from when they were 7 months old.....but getting two 18 month olds to sit still together on the beach and both look at the camera is pretty impossible! (Well, for our children at least!) So, no such luck there! We did get some great pictures though in the process!

And again, Kason's favorite thing is the showers after the beach, so Daddy just let him get right in! The girls came up from the beach and there were Daddy and Kason all soaking wet :)

After a big long nap, we decided to get on the bus and go have lunch somewhere.....the kids have decided that they no longer behave at restaurants and for some reason, I thought this was because we were eating too late at night.....nope! It happens during the day also!
So, we went down to Carlos and Charlies and had the BEST FOOD YET!! It was SOOO yummy! It was very hot because it is an open air restaurant (which we didn't know ahead of time) but the food was delicious! All smothered in cheese and fat! :)

We also went down to the market in the scorching heat and got Kinley a little Mexican dress but couldn't stand the heat one more second and had to get home to rush back into the pool before their bedtime! TOO HOT to not be in the water all day!

Apparently, I am waiting my turn to give Aunt Sarah kisses! Hee Hee!
I have no idea what Daddy is doing here but Kason is loving it :)

Cancun Day Two!

When Kinley woke up from her nap yesterday, her hair looked like this! Had to get a pic!

So, after a big day at the pool, we all got ready and went to the Rainforest Cafe thinking that the kiddos would love it! Well, Kinley did, but Kason was pretty scared of the thunderstorm and the freaky looking monkeys that moved! We found Nemo in the aquarium though and they were both excited about that.

After we ate, we took the kids back to the hotel to go to bed and Jason, Sarah, and I went to WalMart. So, we get on the bus and everyone is ready to go out for the night and we ask the bus driver where WalMart is! We are really cool :)  It was a different kind of WalMart experience but we did make it back with some sort of food and diapers! Apparently WalMart stores are NOT all the same!

Today we spent another day at the pool and beach! We got a lot of good use out of the water slide and the kids get to ride it with us also!
They think that this is pretty cool!

Gigi put the kids at the edge of the slide and let the water shoot their floats....they didn't really ride down by themselves!
