I'm am getting back on the blog now! What? It's only been 2 MONTHS since I posted anything! Oopsie! Back to school is always a crazy time of year and now I've also committed to being the VP of Fundraising in the Moms of Multiples group, I am a Master Teacher for this year which involves doing conferences, planning a conference and attending meetings all year, and I am on the board for the Oklahoma Early Childhood Teachers Association which involves planning and running the OECTA Conference in October! Yikes! What have I gotten myself into?
Not to mention that I've started a new business with Sharon! Gotta pay for that daycare! We are selling Premier Jewelry and having jewelry shows together, etc. If you would like to book a party with us, you can earn at least $200-$300 in free jewelry!
That's my only plug on this blog :)

Back to the fam....we went on a huge family vacation to San Diego on the 4th of July! Aunt Sarah, Uncle Shawn, Aunt Miriam, Uncle Nick, Aunt Kelly, Parker and the Four of Us met up in San Diego!
The plane ride was an experience! Nick, Kelly, Parker, Jason, Kinley, Kason and I all rode on the planes together.....I think it was MUCH more stressful for the adults than the children, who all did just fine!

Here is Aunt Sarah getting to see the kiddos for the first time since Christmas! They have definitely grown!

On the second day we were there, July 5th, we all went to a San Diego Padres baseball game....well, we really didn't get to watch it much, but we were there! The kids were still very worn out from traveling the day before and Kason passed out at the game. Kinley was excited about all the new things to see, but a little cranky as well!

We took the kids to the pool/splash park the next day while the guys played golf. They just loved the splash park and were very interested in the water spraying up!

On Tuesday of the trip, we all went to the San Diego Zoo! What an amazing place! I couldn't believe how huge it was! We walked around all day long and probably saw 1/3 of it! Of course, we did have to make a few stops :)
The kids liked the petting zoo, the little car you can ride on and the skytram thing. Kinley really liked that! They completely passed out on the double decker bus and were asleep for awhile after that!

We had dinner by the Polar Bears and made a little mess! What was on the kids' faces and what was coming out of the Polar Bear actually looked a lot alike! :) (he must have eaten carrots!) I left off that photo for your benefit :)

Unfortunately, Uncle Shawn and Aunt Miriam had to leave from the zoo to go back to LA. :( We were sad....but we made sure to snag a couple of last pics!
Kason really enjoyed looking at the turtles and was following them and trying to grab them! Mommy was impressed!
All through the week, the kids had a habit of actually passing out while in the pool! I guess we were really tiring them out!

Uncle Nick, Aunt Kelly, Parker, and the 4 of us went to La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya) beach one evening to take pictures of the kids. It was fun to see their reaction to the sand and water!
They didn't quite know what to think of the ocean.

Kason LOVED the sand! As soon as he sat down, he started shoveling handfuls of it into his mouth! He was COVERED in sand.

I believe this was supposed to be an ostrich egg? I'm pretty sure they aren't this big, so I don't know if it was supposed to be enlarged or if I am completely off base. Either way, it made for a cute picture! Maybe I'll tell them later that they were sitting in a TYRANNOSAURUS EGG!

This petting zoo had several deer and the babies did better at this petting zoo. I'm assuming this is because they had already experienced one a few days before?

Since the kids don't know about "souvenirs" yet, we got to pick out one for them! We just re-did the kids bathroom in ocean animals and they had this neat little thing there called HANDIMALS. So, they paint your child's hand and then make it into an animal. What they don't tell you is that they make the picture, the mat, and the frame all odd shaped so if you actually want to hang it, you have to buy all 3 parts! It was definitely worth it though, because they turned out so stinkin' cute! Kinley's was a Dolphin, Kason's was a Killer Whale and Parker's was a Giraffe!

On the Safari Ride:

Right before we left, we stopped at this Rhino for some last photos! My husband was thrilled, I'm sure!

Busted!

As you can see, Kinley is still obsessed with toes, which is all she would look at during the Sea Lion show!

On Thursday of our trip, we went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park which was also FABULOUS! There were actually more things for the kids to do at this park, such as the carousel, petting zoo, safari ride, etc.

I did however, take a picture of the sign here, so I know that this is a Weaver Bird nest and we were supposed to pretend we were weaver birds and climb in!

All tuckered out!

And last, but not least, I could not end this blog without letting you know how AWESOME we are at packing a vehicle! If there was a contest, the four of us would have won! Check out what we fit in our tiny mini-van! From the green backpack forward, plus the stroller. AND, don't forget, 4 adults, 3 babies and 3 carseats!
