Crawling Babies

Kinley AND Kason are both crawling now!! Yay!
On August 13th Kinley learned how to sit up by herself from her tummy and then the crawling began! Kinley started doing the worm on August 14th. She was doing one or two little "crawls" and then the worm across the floor. It was hilarious! A week later, on August
21st, she started crawling all the way across the floor all by herself! This is a video of the 2nd time she crawled! Just learning how!

Kason has gone through SEVERAL different stages of crawling! First, he dropped his left shoulder to the floor and kicked his legs while dragging his whole face across the floor. This was hilarious! But, he got where he wanted to go! Then, he swam across the floor on his belly (kind of like the butterfly stroke) and then, he started army crawling! He got really fast at this and today, September 2nd, he crawled across the floor on his hands and knees for the first time! This video shows him trying to crawl, but dropping back down to his army crawl. You can see how fast he actually is at it :)

This is a video of Kason crawling for the 2nd time on his hands and knees!

Kinley is a pro at crawling now! I'm sure her brother will catch up soon :) A little video of her last week:

She gets very excited about it!

And she goes everywhere in the house! After my surgery the other day, I couldn't pick them up for a week, so Jason or my mom would get Kason and then we would say, "Come on, Kinley" and she would follow us wherever we were going, to take a bath, into the living room, etc. It was so cute!

Of course, she loves cords and finds them everywhere and often "gets caught" where she shouldn't be! :)

She pulls up on everything! She can't quite get a grip on the couch yet because it's a little high for her, but she has found many other things to pull up on. She loves to stand and prefers to be standing rather than any other position. If you are sitting on the floor, she will come over and crawl up you to stand and be very content there for a long time!
