One Year Pics

Another fun day taking photos! There is always some sort of photo tragedy with us!


Jason had been out of town and I was in charge of getting the cake, outfits, getting the kids together, dressed for pics, fed, happy, and to the Sears portrait studio by 6:00. I left work, got McDonald's, fed them in the car, changed them and had them super happy by the time I arrived. Jason wasn't going to be back in time for the pictures, so Mom, Danny, and Lynda met us at Sears! We brought balloons for their photos and even arrived 15 minutes early in hope for a good photo session. Well, it turned out that our photographer that we had scheduled across town for wasn't scheduled anymore for that day.....then, we sat there playing with the balloons happy as can be until 7:15! Which, by the way, is 15 minutes before their bedtime! So, we were at Sears for an hour and a half entertaining them and by the time we got to the pictures, they were CRABBY and TIRED! So, 2 or 3 pictures in and a ton of screaming, I decided we should leave and try again a different day! These photos were during the happy time before the pictures started!

Birthday Pictures Take Two:
This time, Sarah had already flown in and got to be a part of the experience! She may decide not to have kids after this! Day 2 was the day before their birthday and Kinley had already started getting sick (which we didn't technically know yet). They both did fairly well at the photo session and the pics turned out good, but she wasn't feeling herself :(

The cake photos were very funny! Kason did not want to dig in and Kinley didn't mind eating hers AND her brothers! Kason did not like the candles in the cake though. He immediately took his out and threw it completely across the room! Then, he reached over and yanked Kinley's candle out and chunked it across the room! It was hilarious!
