On the last day in Cancun, we rode the bus to go eat at Pat O'Brian's. Yummy! I must have gained a ton of weight on this trip because all I can talk about is food! :) Anyway, the kids were a tad bit better on this restaurant visit.....problem in Mexico is that after you are finished with your meal, it takes a good 45 minutes before you get to pay for your food and leave! Therefore, bored toddlers! But, we were used to it by this point, so we just let them run around the empty restaurant hoping it would speed things along! hee hee! Nope! Didn't work!
Margaritaville was on the way back from the bus and had some great photo props!
Kason wanted to take a drink of the margarita! He wouldn't stop saying it until we let him "drink" it!
Kinley and Kason also said their names (their real names) for the first time last night! They have no problem saying Sissy and Bubba, but would never say Kinley or Kason! And Kason said his first....not very often he does things before his sister.
Today we had a LONG day at the airport! 3 1/2 hours of flying, but 12 hours altogether! The kids handled it wonderfully....we woke them up at 4:30 am and threw them in the stroller! Kinley did not sleep at all until we got into our own car after 3 pm! I couldn't believe it! Longest she has ever stayed up! She was great on the plane though and so was Kason until the very end of his flight when the people next to him woke him up and he saw me across the aisle and couldn't sit with me :( Luckily, a nice boy helped us pass the kids to the other parent and that worked out!
There was a donkey this morning at the Cancun airport and we were trying to pass all the extra time we had because our flight was delayed...
Kason was a ham today at the airport. I think he flirted with every single pretty girl and waved hi to everyone he saw! He was definitely in a funny outgoing mood! He met a little 5 year old boy in line to get on the plane that he was just belly laughing at! He kept reaching out and the little boy would shake his hand and Kason would just laugh and laugh. Then, as we walked onto the plane, he smiled and tried to high five every single person in the aisle seat of each row! It was hilarious! A lot of people were high fiving him and playing along.....he really got a kick out of it! He turned on the charm for sure :)
We are home for good now and it is nice after a long day!
