Sarah's trip to Oklahoma

Not only did we get to see Sarah for a week in Cancun, but she also came to Oklahoma on July 3rd and didn't have to leave until July 14th!! It was AWESOME to have her here! We did lots of things while she was here....went to Kansas City to see Blake, Julia, and Lisa and went to Lawrence to see Pam, Carla, David and family!  We also went to Big Splash, the Drive-In Movies, Incredible Pizza, Little Gym, and had a 4th of July party also! It was fun and we were sad to see her leave :(

On the 4th of July, we had a cookout with Gigi, Pam, Sarah, G-ma, G-Pa, Papa Terry, Mike and the 4 of us! Gigi got us all matching shirts and we took pictures (of course!) We also cooked out hamburgers and the kids did sparklers and saw fireworks for the first time!

Click this movie to see the kids with sparklers for the first time!

On the 5th, we drove up to Belton to see Blake, Julia and Lisa and spent the day with them! We went swimming, cooked out and went to Blake's baseball practice! Those two are getting so big!! I can't believe it! Julia is going to be a great mommy....she was practicing with the kids already and did a great job! :)

From there we went to Lawrence and met Gigi and Pam there.....The other Donnell Family came over and we ate and played games and had a great time! I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time! On the way home, we stopped in Kansas City at this little farm called Deanna Rose's Children's Farmstead and it was the neatest place! It was free for everyone and had a ton of things for kids to do! We played on the playground, fed the ducks, rode the tractors, saw the animals, bottle-fed the goats, and it was so neat! Definitely worth going if you are ever in the area with kids!
Here are two videos of the kids feeding the animals!

I also got the bright idea to go to Big Splash for nightsplash with everyone one evening and then go to the Drive-In Movies where the kids would obviously go to sleep in the car! WRONG! Kids stayed up until 1 am and Mommy did not get to watch the movies whatsoever! Nick and Parker met us all there and Parker did not sleep either! I couldn't believe it! Big Splash was fun though and they love the kiddie pool, all germ-filled and all! I don't even want to think about what is actually in that thing!

Kinley was much more intereted in the "water fountain" on this slide! I had to make her go down when kids were waiting behind her!
Kason figured out the he could go down the big slide backwards and he just kept going down and running to the stairs to go back up, over and over and over. He thought that was the coolest thing!
These pictures are from 9 pm at the drive-in.....a long 4 hours away from the end of the movies :)
