9 Month Pictures Take 2

The first time we tried to take 9 month pictures, Kinley was sick :( We went ahead and went to Gilcrease, but it turns out that she doesn't really feel like smiling or changing clothes while she is sick!

So, we took a lot of pictures, but decided to go back the next Sunday! This time we took a new approach. Instead of yanking them out of the car, throwing on different outfits, sticking them in a place they've never seen before and jump around making crazy noises at them, we decided to hang out, have a picnic first, and enjoy the beautiful day!

These are just some candid shots while we were waiting for Joey to get to Gilcrease the second time!

Kason learned that when we say "Touchdown" or "Yay" and he throws his hands up in the air, we all get really excited so he was doing it over and over! Made for great little football pictures!

Naked Babies

One of the twins' favorite things to do before getting in or after getting out of the bathtub is to chase each other around naked! It is so cute! They really like to be naked :)

They have now graduated from the bath seats, but we snapped a few pictures during one of their last bathtimes in the seats. They still LOVE their bath, with or without seats :) 09/05/09

Daddy's First Football Game

Jason is now working at Summit Christian School and coaching Junior High and High School Football. He really enjoys it and has had a ton of fun getting back into the sport!

On September 4th, Gigi, Jim, Nana, Kinley, Kason and I went to watch the first game. The school just got a new field and park and they had a kickoff little carnival as well. It's a small school so it's just like football games when I was in high school. There are regular stands, but people also bring lawn chairs and sit along the sidelines as well. The kids really surprised us.....they stayed up all the way until 10pm and never even got cranky! They were really involved in everything that was happening around them and seemed to love being outside and the different atmosphere! You can see from the photos that we were really able to watch a lot of the game :)

Kinley was really into giving kisses and playing with the camera!

Needless to say, the babies got some great family time!

When Kason gets extremely tired, he gets very giggly! I was tickling him and his laugh is just too contagious! He was begging for more and more!

Crawling Babies

Kinley AND Kason are both crawling now!! Yay!
On August 13th Kinley learned how to sit up by herself from her tummy and then the crawling began! Kinley started doing the worm on August 14th. She was doing one or two little "crawls" and then the worm across the floor. It was hilarious! A week later, on August
21st, she started crawling all the way across the floor all by herself! This is a video of the 2nd time she crawled! Just learning how!

Kason has gone through SEVERAL different stages of crawling! First, he dropped his left shoulder to the floor and kicked his legs while dragging his whole face across the floor. This was hilarious! But, he got where he wanted to go! Then, he swam across the floor on his belly (kind of like the butterfly stroke) and then, he started army crawling! He got really fast at this and today, September 2nd, he crawled across the floor on his hands and knees for the first time! This video shows him trying to crawl, but dropping back down to his army crawl. You can see how fast he actually is at it :)

This is a video of Kason crawling for the 2nd time on his hands and knees!

Kinley is a pro at crawling now! I'm sure her brother will catch up soon :) A little video of her last week:

She gets very excited about it!

And she goes everywhere in the house! After my surgery the other day, I couldn't pick them up for a week, so Jason or my mom would get Kason and then we would say, "Come on, Kinley" and she would follow us wherever we were going, to take a bath, into the living room, etc. It was so cute!

Of course, she loves cords and finds them everywhere and often "gets caught" where she shouldn't be! :)

She pulls up on everything! She can't quite get a grip on the couch yet because it's a little high for her, but she has found many other things to pull up on. She loves to stand and prefers to be standing rather than any other position. If you are sitting on the floor, she will come over and crawl up you to stand and be very content there for a long time!

We turn 1 on Thanksgiving Day!

This year, they are turkey babies! So, what better way to illustrate the fact, than turkey costumes!!

Nope, this ISN'T what they are going to be for Halloween!

The OU kids are back!

9 months later, we are now sporting our OU gear again. With football season around the corner, I pulled out their shower gifts that fit them now! Great planning, girls!

Isn't this picture of Kinley so stinkin' adorable?

Kason's First Tooth

Kason got his first tooth exactly one week after Sissy, July 31st! I can't seem to get a picture of it because his tongue is always in the way! But, his second tooth came in the same day as Kinley's, which was yesterday, August 30th!

I will keep on trying for that tooth picture :)

Kinley's First Tooth

Kinley's first tooth popped out on July 24th! We all went to Cheddar's for dinner the night before Grandma flew back to Florida and we were waiting for a table when we saw it! What a big girl!

Her second one popped through yesterday, August 30th!

We love our Daddy!

These are some fabulous pictures of the kids with their Daddy! You can tell how they feel about him just by looking at these photos :)

Jesse's Wedding

On August 1, 2009, Jesse Johnson and Kara Savage got married! We all went and had a great time! They had a photo booth at the wedding and we played in that for quite some time :) Bethanie and I got really into it, too!
