Well, we have had a very busy summer and now it is over! So sad :(
Rather than go day by day, I am going to group photos and videos together for different things that we did!
We went to the zoo several times, we went to the Bartlesville Kiddie Park twice and Kinley was enrolled in The Little Gym this summer and went once a week! So, I will put some posts up about those things and tell you more about them!
They are both talking a TON! Kinley has been saying sentences for about a month now and Kason is just starting to put sentences together! They amaze me everyday with the new words they learn! Sometimes I think "How do they know that?" but somehow they do! At Mrs. Karla's house (where they go to daycare everyday) they are learning a letter a week. I assumed that there would be no way that they could distinguish, but they can tell you A, B, and C now and they know which is which! Crazy, huh! They will be doing the letter D next week!
Kinley is very interested in the potty, but that's as far as it goes. She likes to sit on it and read books and then she says "all done" and gets up and sometimes pees on the floor! She did actually pee in the potty one time, but that was a fluke I guess! Kason was terrified of the potty, but now he will sit on it and sometimes he will sit on it without his diaper on, so I guess that is a good sign!
Jason and I are both back in school and exhausted! It takes a few weeks to get back into the routine of everything! Jason is also going to school to get his Master's and is taking 6 hours right now and I am still selling Premier Jewelry! That has been a big blessing for our family for sure!
Throughout the summer pics that I post, you will notice that I have a HUGE black eye! I had sinus surgery on June 10th and that is what happened to me! It is gone now on the outside, but you can still see the black underneath and it has been almost 4 months! I don't think it's every going to go away!

Philbrook Free Family Days
(Written in June) In Tulsa, we have a museum called The Philbrook Museum. Every 2nd Saturday of the month, they have Free Family Saturdays for the kids. They do arts and crafts, show movies in the theatre, have storytime and puppets, etc. The Saturday that we went, the theme was Egypt because of their new Egyptian exhibit. We had a group of families that went together with the Moms of Multiples group. Our kids used watercolors for the first time, played outside, listened to the storytime and tried to string some beads on a string!

18 Month Checkup
We went to the doctor today for Kinley and Kason's 18 month checkup....it was scheduled for the day before our Mexico trip but I cancelled it just in case the shots made them feel icky!
They had a great time chasing each other around the waiting room before we went back!
Horton Hears a Who was playing on the TV and I asked them where the elephant was and this is a pic from that....
Here is Kason looking like a great big boy from this view!
After their shots, we were looking at their new band-aids and seeing how "pretty" they were! Kinley kept lifting up her skirt to check if they were still there later on!
When the nurse came in and then when the Dr. came in, Kinley was really looking out for Bubba. Every new thing that they did to her, she would say "Bubba" and point to Kason to make sure he wasn't getting left out. When they looked in her ears, checked her temperature, checked her eyes, measured her, etc. Every single thing they did, she made sure her brother got to do also! It was so funny! The Dr. said, "Wow, she is so motherly!" I am sure Kason is going to be absolutely thrilled with this later on!
Kason weighed 23.9 pounds and Kinley weighed 25.4 pounds! The funny thing is, she is a lot less chunky than before! Kason is also about 1/2 to 3/4 an inch taller than Kinley so that makes him super skinny!
And they eat the exact same things! Weird, huh?

Kason was 25% in weight, 70% in length and 50% in head circumference
Kinley was 70% in weight, 65% in length and 50% in head circumference
Not that I'm bragging or anything, but the Dr. did say that they were very advanced verbally! They were just gabbing and talking away the whole time the nurse and doctor were in there! Kinley even said "Thank You" when the nurse left after giving them their shots! Hee Hee :)
Parker Turns TWO!
I can't believe that our nephew, Parker, is two years old! Wow, how time flies! He loves Bob the Builder so they had a Bob the Builder birthday party for him on Sunday evening. Parker had a great time opening his gifts (along with the other gift openers who helped him :)) He had some great big smiles and laughs which were really cute!
We turned out to be the last ones to leave and all three kids played out in the front yard together with the bubbles for a long time while Daddy and Uncle Nick used Parker's new bat and ball! :)

Last Day in Cancun with the Family :(
Well, it's our last day here and none of us want to go home! We have had a fantastic week and are definitely glad that we brought the kids! They got to experience a lot of new things and I am positive that they had a great time! Just from the first day in the pool to the last, they made huge strides and just being with everyone 24 hours a day for a week was so great and refreshing! A great start to a great summer! I couldn't ask for anything more and can't wait to spend the rest of the summer with my husband and kids!
On the last day in Cancun, we rode the bus to go eat at Pat O'Brian's. Yummy! I must have gained a ton of weight on this trip because all I can talk about is food! :) Anyway, the kids were a tad bit better on this restaurant visit.....problem in Mexico is that after you are finished with your meal, it takes a good 45 minutes before you get to pay for your food and leave! Therefore, bored toddlers! But, we were used to it by this point, so we just let them run around the empty restaurant hoping it would speed things along! hee hee! Nope! Didn't work!
Kinley and Kason also said their names (their real names) for the first time last night! They have no problem saying Sissy and Bubba, but would never say Kinley or Kason! And Kason said his first....not very often he does things before his sister.

Margaritaville was on the way back from the bus and had some great photo props!
Kason wanted to take a drink of the margarita! He wouldn't stop saying it until we let him "drink" it!

Cancun Day Five!
We are sad today because Aunt Sarah has to go home early in the morning :( And then, we only have one more day before we have to go home :( If only our lives could be vacation all the time, right? No worries, no housework, no jobs, just playing and fun!
We spent a lot of time in the sun and water today.....it was a gorgeous day, again! The weather channel predicted all kinds of rain this trip, but it has only sprinkled once for an hour. It has been perfect weather the whole time! It is really amazing how much the kids have progressed in the pool! Kason and Kinley both love going underwater and want to go down the slide with mommy and daddy over and over and over! Kinley also went down with Aunt Sarah!
After the kids' morning nap, we went down to the ocean and Daddy and Aunt Sarah rode the waverunners! They both said that they had a great time! Daddy was worn out from all of the waves and Sarah flew off the back twice!
While they were out riding the waverunners, Kinley was very interested in where they were the entire time! She was pointing and calling and waving and it was adorable! She even calls him "my daddy". I've been trying to get her on camera calling Daddy for quite some time now, and I finally got it! Watch this clip:
On the beach, there was a little surfboard prop that we took some pictures on also!

Everywhere we go in Cancun, Kinley thinks she needs to introduce everyone in the family to anyone she meets! In the elevator, restaurant, etc. She starts by pointing to Mommy and saying Mommy, then Daddy, then Bubba, then she points to herself and says "Sissy" and then Gigi and Sarah (whom she calls Sarsrah). It is so funny!
These are some pictures of Aunt Sarah and the kids: She was putting rubberbands on Kason's nose and he was just laughing! (After she went home, he came up to me and said "jibber jabber jibber jabber, NOSE" and handed me the rubberbands and pointed to his nose, which of course means that he wanted to play the game again!
Here, Kinley and Sarah are looking at pictures from the beach on the laptop together and Kinley is telling the names of the people in the pictures :) One of her favorite things to do! (say names that is)
After we ate dinner, we went to explore the Mayan ruins that are next to our hotel and see the sunset, etc. We also walked around on the putt putt course but it was closed for the day, so we couldn't hit the balls around. The view was beautiful up by the ruins and the perfect time of day to see the view!
Kinley is very good about giving out kisses! Kason...not so much. She can be crying in your arms and you tell her to give you a kiss and she will stop crying to kiss you! She also knows butterfly kisses and eskimo kisses :)
Gigi taught Kinley and Kason to "show their teeth" so for the first time EVER, they actually smiled for the camera! It was a proud moment for Mommy! I think Kason looks SO handsome in this one!
And the first picture where we're all smiling and my favorite of the vacation is this one! Yay!
Love this smile Kinley is giving to Sarah!
How old are you?
Kinley also learned how to take her shoes off and she can put the right shoe back on! She was VERY proud of herself here....
