Parker's First Birthday Party

Well, on June 6th, we headed to Jan's for Parker's 1st Birthday party. (His birthday is 6-7) The theme was baseball and they had some really cute invitations, decorations, etc.! It was a pool party, but Parker wasn't too thrilled about the water. Nick and Kelly filled up the kiddie pool the day before but it still hadn't warmed up, so both Kason and Parker cried a little when going in! Kinley didn't mind the ice cold at all! I put Kason back in gradually and he got used to it and they played for a little while in the water.....Unfortunately, I took 500 pictures of Parker that day, but only one of my own kids and none of the pool time! Other people did take pictures that day, so if you are one of them, please send them to me! Thanks!

One of the presents that we got Parker was a stool that I painted to match his baseball room and I wrapped it in brown paper and had the kids sign it....it did seem to be very interesting to him, so brown paper may be a good idea for a one year old! Crazy what they like best! (he wasn't too interested in the actual present yet though :))
We also got him the Learning Home by Fisher Price (Trying to keep Mattel alive, Miriam!) Nick and Kelly both said that he loves it!

Parker doesn't like to get dirty, but he did start to get dirty towards the end of the cake eating, so I'm adding a couple of my favorite shots!
