Learning so many new words....

It amazes me how fast they learn new words! It seems like they learn a new word everyday!
Just this week, they started calling me Mommy and not Puppy! Daddy was Daddy and everyone and everything else was puppy, including me!
Now, I am Mommy so I am very excited about that! But, sometimes Daddy is also Mommy now, too!

Just on this trip alone, they learned a bunch of new words!
light, all gone (with their hands up), kitty, bye bye paci (when they get up, they say bye bye to their paci and put it in their bed), apple, sshhhh (the librarian shhh with their finger up to their mouth, which I'm assuming Karla does with them, because I never have!), down (when they want down), and Kinley says oops and peek-boo (not peek-a-boo....just peek-boo), and chicken

So, we had some free time this week and sat down and counted the words that they know how to say and came up with 25 for Kinley and 23 for Kason. I think this is good :) Their 15 month checkup form said they should know how to say 7 to 20 words by 17 months, so I guess they are on track!

Also, at their 15 month checkup, in case anyone cares to know:
Kinley weighed 23 pounds & 12.5 ounces and was 31.5 inches long and
Kason weighed 23 pounds & 1.5 ounces and was 32.5 inches long

This was a shocker to us because we just KNEW that Kinley weighed at least 5 more pounds, but apparently, she just feels that much heavier! She actually has only gained a few ounces since she was a year old, but Kason has gained almost 2 pounds! Good thing, he needed it! They both grew 2 inches taller since their birthday.
Kason is 30% in weight and 80% in length
and Kinley is 60% in weight and 75% in length

Our next visit is for their 18 month checkup at the end of May.....
